VANCOUVER, B.C. – Nora Sue Jang, passed away peacefully on July 08, 2019.

Predeceased by husband Bill, sisters Kim, Keing, Deidre; brothers Nam, Quan, Kelly, Wilbur, Ernie.

Lovingly survived by her sons, Ronald Jang (Donna), Wilson Jang (Dories), Terry Jang (Karin) all of Vancouver; daughter, Deanna MacGregor (William) of Burnaby; and seven (7) grandchildren and four (4) great-grand-children. She is also survived by her sister, Priscilla Wong (Allan) of Vancouver, B.C, as well as sisters-in-law Fong Chow (Quan) and Bonnie Chow (Kelly), both of Burnaby, B.C

Our Mother was raised on a farm on the Musqueam Reserve in Vancouver with her many siblings. During her marriage, before and after our Father Bill passed away, she operated a grocery store in several locations in Vancouver for many years with the help of her younger brother Ernie. When she was in her 40’s, she worked for The White Spot and BMO. Through her hard work she managed to buy a house in the Shaughnessy area when her four children were still attending high school.

Celebration of Life: Friday, July 19, 2019, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Forest Lawn Funeral Home – Chapel

Committal Service (Burial): At 2:30 pm, Forest Lawn Memorial Park – West Summit Section

Reception: At 2:30 pm, Forest Lawn Reception Room

Guests who do not wish to attend the burial will be invited directly to the reception area for refreshments. Floral arrangements deliver direct to Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
