Nora de Lima Rodriguez

Nora Rodriguez comfortably and peacefully passed away on August 30th 2024 surrounded by all of those who loved her dearly. Born on December 14 1940 in the Philippines, Nora spent 83 years living a life full of love, joy, and laughter.

Nora is survived by her only daughter Ivy, eldest sister Loyda, step daughters Edna and Myrna, step sons Roberto and Reynaldo and her grandchildren Rigel, Hope, Cailla and Kianna.

Nora took pride in her previous accomplishments in the Philippines including winning many beauty pageants and food and floral catering businesses.

Her favourite hobbies included cooking, baking, sewing, and spending time with her loving family. Before moving to Canada, Nora worked as a teacher and taught many children throughout the years. She was a caring mother, a humorous grandmother to her many grandchildren, and a courageous woman who fought through many medical difficulties up until the very end.

Her spirit and energy continues to live and flourish through the stories, memories and lives of those she influenced. Nora has made a vow to uphold her faith and persevere in prayer upon reaching heaven, inspired by her universal love.
