Heartfelt thanks to the medical staff at VGH especially Dr. Tran and nurses Sylvia and Rebecca who attended to Mom in her final hours. Be in peace now my Momsiepoo - I love you now and forever!
Olivia was a life long learner, more of an academic, as she used to call herself. She loved books, classical music, the opera, the Beatles, art and discovering new things through her photography. Olivia was always up for a new adventure – the highlight being when her and Bill traveled to the Soviet Union. She used to love cooking and formed an international cooking club with her friends. Olivia also loved to bake and became known for her specialty desserts – we even tried convincing her to start her own business. And to top it all off, she loved fine wine. Olivia loved reading and conversing on just about any topic and always said what was on her mind. Her “what are you up to?” looks, humorous scolding looks, sense of humor and great conversational skills were among the many traits we loved and will forever miss. We are thankful that we had so many years with her. Be in peace Mom, until we meet again.
