Orlando Papa

November 2, 1940 – July 8, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Orlando Papa,

surrounded by his loving family in Coquitlam on July 8, 2025, at the age of 84.

Born in Galluccio (Caserta), Italy, Orlando was a devoted husband, father, and

grandfather whose greatest joy and lifelong dedication was to his family. Known

for his quiet strength and boundless generosity, he gave selflessly, always putting

the needs of others before his own.

Orlando will be deeply missed by his wife Olga; his children Silvio (Gina), Maria

(Nick), Adriano (Catalina), and Fabio (Emily); and his adored grandchildren

Giuliana, Gabriella, Matteo, Sabrina, Valeria, Cristiano, Alex, and Micah.

He was predeceased by his parents, Pierino and Maria, and his sister Assunta.

He is survived by his siblings Angelo, Antonietta, Rosa, Anna, and Fausto,

along with their spouses—both living and remembered—as well as many nieces,

nephews, cousins, and friends.

Together with his beloved wife Olga and their children, Orlando built and

operated a successful catering business spanning over four decades. Through

his work, he not only served exceptional food but became a cherished part of the

Italian and European communities in the Lower Mainland—helping mark

countless weddings and family milestones with warmth and care.

Orlando’s unwavering love, humble spirit, and legacy of service and family

devotion will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

Prayers will be offered on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., with a Mass of

Christian Burial to follow on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., both at

Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 315 Walker St., Coquitlam, BC. Entombment will

take place at Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum
