Pasquale Di Spirito

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Pasquale Di Spirito on August 1st 2019 at the age of 93. Pasquale is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Elena; children Cicilia (Don), Danny (Maria): Niece Enza: Grandchildren Nicole (Luca), Francesco, Anna, Jamie and Nicholas: Great grandson Sebastiano: Great nephews Mark, Romolo (Monica) and Dino (Stefania)

Pasquale came to Canada in 1953 to make a better life for himself and future family. In 1958 he married the love of his life, Elena, where they quickly started the growth of their family with the birth of their first daughter Cicilia in 1959. Their niece Enza joined them in 1962 and 3 years later, Danny was born to complete the family.

Pasquale was a hardworking man who was dedicated to his family. He was always there to lend a helping hand and wanted to make sure those around him were happy and cared for. He was quick to smile, with an infectious laugh that could make anyone else smile. He would go the extra mile for anyone who needed it, whether it be with his hands or his heart. His positive attitude and easy going ways made him the rock of the family. He always made sure that you felt loved and took the time to listen, offer advice or set you in the right direction when you needed it. He loved being out in the garden, it was his pride and joy. Rain or shine, he was out there digging, planting, and growing. It was his favourite pastime and how he spent many of his days.

He was a wonderful man, surrounded and loved by so many family members and friends. His stories and memory will be kept alive as the family continues to grow. His legacy will be passed on through generations and he will never be forgotten.In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
