Patricia Chiao Tsui Chen was born on November 24, 1936 in Kolkata, India and went to be with the Lord on March 20, 2026 in Vancouver, Canada at the age of 89 years. She is predeceased by her husband, Hoong Kwong Chen and survived by her three children: Lillian, Fred, Tony, and her six grandchildren: Alexandra, Bryan, Chris, Trevor, Tiffany, and Chloe.
Patricia arrived in Canada in 1967 as a new immigrant with her young family of five. She lived in Vancouver her entire time in Canada and worked her last job as an aircraft assembly technician in Richmond. She retired from working when she was 62 years old and enjoyed her retired life ballroom dancing, traveling to foreign destinations, cooking for her family, and working in her flower garden.
She cared deeply about her family and always looked forward to spending time with them. She will be forever loved by her family and greatly missed by all who knew her.
Patricia will be honoured at a Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi Parish, 6350 Nanaimo Street, Vancouver, BC on Wednesday, April 8th, 2026, at 11:00 am with Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, BC at 1:30 pm in 'Reflection'.
