I was so sorry to find out about your Dad's passing.Please accept my deepest condolences.Pat and I met in Scotiabank in 1978 where he showed me how to calculate interest.Pat was a great teacher,with a jolly personality...a great man with a big warm heart.
Pat will stay in our hearts forever.

Dear Colleen, Erin & Kelli: I have just returned from an out of country trip to learn of your father's death; please accept my deepest condolences. Pat & I met in 1971 where he enriched my life at the Bank of Nova Scotia immeasurably. I found Pat to possess a large, compassionate heart and who also found time to teach me much at the Bank and on the golf course where we spent much time together some years ago. I am so sorry for your loss.

A wonderful neighbour to us and our girls, always ready to help, or just have chats in the courtyard, and often provide the girls with sugary treats! They learned to be excited to see Patrick walking along :). We have wonderful memories. Our condolences to his family.

  So sorry to hear about Pat's passing. It was my pleasure to work with Pat at Scotiabank in the early 1980's. He was an excellent banker and a very good friend. Our condolences to Pat's family and friends.

I will begin by saying how shockedI was by Pat' passing at such a early age. He and I go back to the West End I was 13 and he was my first serious boyfriend him driving his dad's car. Our paths passed on and off through the years. He had manyy friends atVacouver College who today I passed on the news of his passing. My hope was he had a happy full life and it sounds like he did. Condolences to the family of Pat Gayford. Pat and I go way back to the early seventies when I was a young man with the Bank of Nova Scotia at 6th and 5th in New Westminster. We spent a fair bit of time at the Royal Towers And were always pushing his green Morris Minor to get it to started Coleen was just a baby and I believe I was the baby setter the odd time. Pat and I had lunch during the last year and he talked non stop about his lovely daughters.Pat gave me my first golf clubs which were from his dad.  Anyway,Pat was a great guy and loved his girls. A very thoughtful man and such a nice neighbour - our thoughts are with Patrick's family and friends.

My heart is broken with the passing of such a fun loving, unique person who touched my life in such a special way. Some have a way of showing love with the touch of a hand and simple gesture...... Patrick , Colleen , Erin, Kelli, you will be in my thoughts forever.
