Today we will celebrate your birthday and reminisce, share stories of joy and love you gave us. We light a candle and together we toast you. Forever in our hearts, Happy 57th.

Memories of you flow deeply as we remember your favorite things during the season....Starbucks Christmas Blend; A Wonderful Life; Eggs Benedict and free golf at Fraserview. We recall the numerous surprise gifts you spent hours planning. We remember...always and forever. Miss you from the bottom of our hearts and watching for the twinkle in the lights and know you are with us.

I am writing this after finishing another one of our wonderful Sterling Customer Service seminars. I felt you with me Paul as I stole some of your awesome stories and shared them as my own with the servers! As I drove back home I thought about the GREAT road trips we had....Louies coffee!! Haha!

Today April 24th, I celebrate your Life. You are 55, alive in the hearts of those who know you. I imagine you are on the golf course smiling from ear to ear spite the rain today. How you got Denis to take the day off only speaks to your persuasive charm my love. I celebrate the years you inspired others; how you brought laughter to friends and acquaintances; the ideas and creativity you brought forth everyday and the kindness within that was humbly given. 
My darling Paul, This is your day! 
Always and Forever in my heart.

My dearest Paul, 
It's been one year today that my heart was shattered. You are my love, my only love and my days without you has been very lonely. Although small to some, I miss how you scratched my back every morning, your warm smile as we shared our morning coffee, your hand on my lap when we watched TV, your feet touching me as we lay snug in bed. I miss you having the answers to all my questions, I miss you in my car. I miss our date nights. The lists goes on and on. I tearfully try to pick up the pieces like a jigsaw puzzle carefully trying to fit the pieces of my life. I have not and will not ever forget the 32 years we spent as one. Love you always and forever my Hawaiian warrior.

I still think of you Paul many times a day! Your teaching, helping, and friendship will be remembered forever! Physically you are not here but with me you will live on forever!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Paul's family and friends. We know this is a sad time for all. Paul's dedication and endless commitment and energy to our business was only matched by his willingness to help teach and provide his support with usually nothing more than a moments notice or willingness to learn!

I have had the pleasure of working with Paul for over the past 20 years and not only did we become good working partners we became good friends. As most of you know Paul did like to play Golf and I had the pleasure of playing several games with him on Sunday afternoons and through practice and determination he became a good player and yes he liked looking for the lost balls along the way. Paul, was a very good communicator and had a passion for people, he loved to talk. You can talk to him about anything and he would almost always have some knowledge of the subject which I found amazing, he was a very intelligent man. In fact I found myself calling Paul for information and/or advice on different topics. He was a fantastic salesman and literally could sell an Eskimo ice cubes. He went that extra mile to make things happen. I watch at times how he would take care of last minute orders on a late Friday afternoon or Saturday morning and he would actually fillet the fish or cut the steaks himself, just to make sure his customer was taken care of that's just the dedicated guy he was. He would never let you down he was just that type of guy if he said he was going to do it you knew it would get done. I did have a chance to travel with Paul on a few occasions on some long international trips and we laughed how Paul would travel very light with just a carry-on bag. I guess that was the sensible guy in him.

June and Family, Karen and I would like to give you our deepest condolences during this sad time. I will miss my friend Paul dearly.

I know many of you got to know Paul very well during past summits. He was very talented, passionate and respected by all. This is a great loss for our Sterling Silver family.

So sorry to hear that Paul passed away, he was truly a great guy in so many ways, so passionate about the meat business, a great sense of humour and possessed a great deal of integrity. I only knew him for a few years but he certainly made an impression on me and I will miss him greatly.

I'd like to express my deepest condolences to Paul's family and the entire Centennial Family.

Paul and I became good friends after our first meeting in Toronto, you could say he took me under his wing to be part of your family. Of course we talked lots and I listened to his knowledge and learned lots. He was so proud of his accomplishments with the Sterling Beef Program and had nothing but good to say about the company. He will always be remembered by me and I'm so grateful that I got him on one of our prawn boats and also one of our Salmon trollers, all you could see at the end of the trip was a big smile with a camera hanging off his neck.
So glad to have had the opportunity to meet such a great guy.

Paul was a brilliant man and helped me be a better person since I met him in May 1992. He was the truest friend anyone could think to have. I worked with Paul over 20 years and he was one of my mentors. The knowledge Paul taught me still travels with me today.

Diane and I have fond memories of Paul:
1. Being the DJ at our wedding 17 years ago.
2. Company Vegas trips - everything was planned and organized to a tee. Something we looked forward to.
3. When I started selling and tried to make my own flyers I looked to Paul for assistance. As I had limited computer knowledge back then it was Diane and Paul who would laugh about how I wanted the font on flyers to be "BIG AND BOLD". Paul would keep saying the words "BIG AND BOLD".
4. Paul gave me my first brick cell phone which must have weighed 3 pounds. The phone would not fit in Diane's purse once the antenna was screwed on.

We will never forget Paul's laughter and his friendship will be treasured - we will miss our dear friend forever.

I have spoken with many customers that knew Paul and had worked with him in the past, and there is a sincere sorrow from all of them. Even those who have not seen him in years realize that the world has lost a truly great human being.

I heard the very sad news of the passing away of Paul Yee. It was quite a shock.

Paul was a real gentleman and he made a different to many lives. My memories of him are nothing but respect and admiration for this wonderful human being.

My sympathies to the entire CFS family, Paul Yee's family and friends. He is a loss to all.

Paul will very much be missed. It's hard to imagine a Sterling Silver summit without Paul's energy and passion. I'm so glad we had the chance to get to know him over the years. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family.

Paul was gifted with a rare combination of talents. He had an astounding intellectual capacity exhibited by his powers of recall. He would often relate to me details of events and transactions, points that I had made at meetings and deals I had forged with clients long after my ability to retain such information had passed. This strength of mind was combined with a playfulness and inquisitive nature that allowed him to challenge the status quo. Always in a well reasoned manner. Paul was never satisfied with the logic that said "we can't change that because that's the way we've always done it." He was an innovator without equal and forged relationships by measuring the other persons needs and developing a method of satisfying them. That was the business side of Paul.

Paul's intellectual abilities also served him well with more leisurely pursuits. He had a playlist in his head that would outpace anything iTunes could produce. He could recite song lyrics, mimic performing artists and perform impromptu skits with little to no preparation. As part of our "Meat Rappers" trio in the early 90's he kept the bass beat going while reciting our farcical lyrics. He could, and did, imitate anyone with deadly accuracy and amused us to no end with his command of accents and our personality quarks. Those recollections will always make me smile. That was the leisure side of Paul.

You could not spend time with Paul and not be aware of his greatest priority in life. Soon after we met I was apprised of the wonderful family situation he was blessed with and knew all about his dedication to his kids, the reverence he held for his elders, and the unwavering devotion he had for the love of his life, June. That is what I will remember most about Paul. May that be said of all of us.

In our time, each of us will encounter a handful of people who touch us in ways that change the course of our lives. Sometimes they even change who we are. These are often uncommon individuals that appear to be ordinary people until we realize how they have altered us and affected our journeys.

Paul Yee did just that to me. He recognized something in me that even I did not, and allowed me to become part of a company that I have had the privilege to be associated with for twenty years this month. More of a family, really. And Paul was the man that opened the door and welcomed me in.

He also recognized a friend in me that I didn't know I could be, both to him and to others. Almost unwittingly, I learned from him the true value of friendship and how to really be one of those.

As you know, Paul was continually thinking, analyzing, evaluating and was constantly thought provoking. He often asked me questions that made me ask myself what was important and sometimes what I really believed in. The answers were always worth the process of thinking it through, and sharing those realizations with Paul were one of our greatest mutual pleasures.

If passion were power, Paul Yee could run his home province alone. It was proven to me time and again by his words and actions that if you have the passion, and the ability to focus that passion on a skill, a cause or a goal, we can truly accomplish anything we set our minds to. That cliché was just a simple reality for him.

Relationships with special people frequently leave us with gifts that can serve us for an entire lifetime. My friendship with Paul has marked me permanently as someone who is never content to say, "Why?", but as a more fully realized man who most often asks "Why not?"

Thank you, Paul, for showing me how to be someone I can be proud of, like I am of you.

I kept this e-mail from Paul for a couple of reasons. One was that I laughed whenever I saw it, thinking of how Paul was not prepared to be in Saskatchewan that day! He was not dressed for the storm of the century, but I believe Kelly looked after that also! The other reason, was to remind me that we must carry on, regardless of the circumstances of the day, to get the job done. Paul was all about that. I wish he would have had his camera that day, the images he would have captured.
Paul is a tremendous guy, always so happy and full of life. I will remember his smile always.

I send my sincere condolences to June & family belatedly on hearing the sad news of Paul's passing. Paul had a great energy & passion for learning, & was happy to pass on his “self-taught knowledge”, to everyone who shared in his interests. I was fortunate enough to have played a game of golf with him many years ago & enjoy his warm personality.I will remember our conversations with fond memories.

I worked with Paul at Centennial and was saddened to hear of his passing.  My deepest condolences to his family.

Paul, I met through my husband Chris back in 1979.  Just out of high school and out in the clubs.  Disco back then - great times.  I found Paul to be immediately personable and charismatic.  He had a deep voice and not surprisingly worked in radio for a time.  I witnessed his knack for remembering minute details and could sing a jingle to jog your memory of Gilligan's Island (yes, he knew all the lyrics).  He loved to laugh and I remember when he couldn't wait to tell us about this new comic he saw on TV.  He believed that this new guy was going to hit it big...he was right.  It was Tom Hanks and at that time was in a short-lived sitcom entitled "Bosom Buddies".  Paul could always see potential in people.  I missed his laughter and stories and knew that in the years that passed, he gave his energy to Centennial and thrived there.  He took on any challenge with courage and tenacity.  I will miss him so much.  June, Jessica and Jared, his mom and dad who were friends of my mom, and his many relatives - my deepest condolences, I grieve your loss. I remember Paul as a fun loving, easy going friend who was full of laughter  and  exuded
a lot charm and generosity. I will never forget the fond memories of the times we spent together.
Paul was a great videographer and a DJ and he did this with great enthusiasm at my wedding.
He was adventurous and always eager to try anything. I still remember how excited he was when he got his motorcycle. His other pride was his Trans Am which we both used on a road trip to Las Vegas. We would  go fishing on his boat and enjoy the relaxation. Our family enjoyed the many bbqs that  he, June and their family put on.

I was absolutely shocked when I heard he had passed away at such a young age.
We graduated together from Killarney in 1978
He was a kind, funny, gentle person, who treated you like you were his best friend. He always had a bright smile on his face.
Incredibly genuine soul, the last time I saw Paul was at our 20th high school reunion.
It was like 20 years had not passed for us, Paul was just the same as he was in high school.
I wish we would have had a chance to see each other again.

To learn of his passing today, I regret not having kept in touch; to appreciate the enormous impact that he had in the world, to know his family and his positive contributions to the lives of so many in what must be a vast network of friends and family. A born leader with natural charisma, charm, generosity and genuine interest in others. I also remember him as one of the smartest guys I knew, with intelligence matched only by his loyalty to family and friends.

My story with my buddy Paul started in 1978, we met in Langara College- Small Business Program. We soon became best of friends through college and into our adult years. He was just 18 with a big smile and heart, huge charismatic personality. His presence was felt where ever he went.

We would party at night clubs and discos, sun tan at Wreck Beach and  cruising around town  in his cool Pontiac Trans Am (yes with the big bird on the hood) . Hanging out at his house was great, his parents and sisters - FABULOUS. I was fortunate to have spent 2 weeks vacation with Paul in Hawaii when we were about 20 years old. I can still see Paul on the beach there, sporting a fantastic tan and the locals thought he was also a local.

Paul was also a hard working man and he loved his family.
We were each others  "best man" when we married our sweethearts. Paul will always be in my heart, we shared many precious moments in our youth.

Paul was always generous in sharing his expertise and knowledge especially about Stirling Silver beef from which I and others greatly benefited. He was a genuinely good person and will be sadly missed.

June and Family I am utterly heartbroken at the loss of Paul and the way he made me a better person than I was on my own with his "Power is Knowledge" speach to me. This is a void of such magnitude, how quickly this Bright Light was extinguished only makes it hurt more.
Paul had the incredible insight to mentor us all with the gaps in our own character and ability, and gently allowed us to get back up and meet the next challenge knowing that the results were not as important as the attempt we made to give our best effort.

 Paul was a good friend of  mine and I am so grateful to had met him and spent some time with  him during the prime of his life when he was just twenty years old. We both loved music during the 80's disco scene and Paul was a DJ playing at parties and events where he could make people happy with his music. He was so full of life, quick witted along with a deep bellowing laugh that I could still hear in my memories of him. We traveled to Fiji together and he became a celebrity with all my relatives and friends with his huge persona and quick study Fijian accent . The Fijian  ladies thought he was a Tongan prince in the the way he carried himself  and would make cat-calls to get his attention. Paul was a star in all and I mean all the events and parties we attended with people around him with big smiles and laughter. These are the special memories that I will treasure and remember him as, and I would also like to express my sincere condolences to June, Jessica,Gerard, Mr and Mrs Yee , Mary ,Winfred and family.
