June 30, 1953 – September 18, 2022
Peter, known as “Pepa” to his family, passed away unexpectedly with far too many things left on his plate to do. He was an avid traveller, music lover, concert-goer, fisherman, cook, and storyteller, but above all else, he was a great friend to so many.
Peter was predeceased by his father Ivo and his mother Antonia “Ana”. He leaves behind family in Canada, Croatia, and Slovenia, and his friend-family throughout BC. Who would have thought that this only child would find a place in so many hearts?
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022, from 5-7 PM at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby V5C 2J6.
We also invite you to join us for a Celebration of Peter’s Life on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 12-4:30 PM at the Slovenian Hall, 5762 Sprott Street, Burnaby V5G 1T7. What better way to send him off than by having friends and family share stories, laugh, eat, laugh, drink, laugh. He’s going to love it.
