Pierina passed away peacefully on Mother’s Day, May 12, 2024, in Vancouver, BC, Canada. She was 98 years old. Born in a small village near Labin, Istria (in what was then Italy and changed to Croatia after WW2). She was an awesome and amazing mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. We were all lucky to have her.
