Ray (Sugar Ray) Walters passed away surrounded by loved ones on December 13, 2024 in Burnaby, BC at the New Vista Care Home. Ray was born in Spokane, Washington on February 5, 1930 and moved to Vancouver, BC in 1931. He was a devoted husband, father and grandpa. He will be sadly and lovingly missed by his wife of 70 years Sue, and his children Cindy and Laura (Joe) and grandchildren Jake (Natalia), Georgia (Abbas), Clayton; great grandsons Liam, Aidan and Oliver. He is survived by his sister Louise. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Scandinavian Centre (6540 Thomas Street, Burnaby, BC) on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 3:00pm; with a light dinner to follow.
