Thank you for showing me the fragile value of life and how important it is to be cherished. Im glad to have met someone as caring and kind hearted as you. We miss you Rie and the absence of your warm smile is noticed.

Rie, as my student, co-worker and friend, I cherish years I have known you. In my teaching days I could always count on you for a smile when I was feeling blue, as a co-worker you always brought respect and honesty to the workplace and as a friend you never judged or spoke ill of anyone. You will be truly missed! May you find a peaceful resting place.

May you rest in peace Rie, you are fondly remembered.  May you serve as a reminder to us that life is fleeting, that we must cherish all that we already have.

Missing you very much! Thank you for all the times we've shared together and the friendships we've made in our journey.  I'm so grateful to have met you and will have you in my heart on every November 9th.  Please be at peace.  You have been a great friend.  You loved Vancouver very much and cared for all your friends.    You are loved and missed by many.  You have touched so many lives.  A piece of you lives in all of us.  Thank you to Rie's parents.  I hope everyone finds peace and closure.  May we all remember the best of Rie on every November 9th.
