Bob was born on September 22nd, 1941 to his late parents, Allen and Girlie Koo. He is survived by his brothers Ted and Brian (Allie), his sister Crystal (Syd), and his extended family.
Bob grew up in Kerrisdale and attended the local schools: Maple Grove, Point Grey, and Magee. He went to UBC where he graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy. Bob worked for Cunningham Drugstore and different locations for Shoppers Drugmart. He left the field of pharmacy to work for the family business, J.B. Hoy Produce.
Upon retirement, Bob enjoyed world travel and getting together with family and his many friends. As a long time season’s ticket holder, Bob particularly enjoyed attending games for the BC Lions and Vancouver Canucks.
A private ceremony will be held.
