He lived in Trail from March of 1966, Vernon, Rutland and Burnaby until his passing. He started working with Ocean View Cemetery in March of 1981 and had worked for Forest Lawn and the Dignity Group for over forty (40) years. He was so proud of his workplace and especially the people he worked with. They became a big part of his family and that's why he didn't stop working.
He loved calling his family regularly and especially on their birthdays. He would call at all times of the day or night. He loved his sports, gambling, smoking and TV. He and Polly had a passion for collecting and storing things too, ask Paul.
Immensely proud of his Japanese heritage, Bob will be remembered for significant pride in his large family and his strong work ethic.
We will all miss him, especially when we don't get those calls! LOL! Feel free to express your condolences by "adding a Memory" directly below.
