It is with profound sorrow we announce the passing of Roberto Manzi who left us peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 28, 2025. Roberto was born on August 25, 1938, in Bagnoli del Trigno, Italy. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Lucia, his son Marco (Filomena) and daughter Lisa and his adoring grandchildren, Marcantonio, Adriana and Gabriella as well as his sisters, Annina and Emma in Italy. Roberto was predeceased by his parents, Achille and Maria Manzi, his sisters Gina and Erminia and his brothers Natalino and Giovanni with whom he proudly founded Manzi Bros. Wrought Iron Works in 1969. Visitation to be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 6 to 8pm at Bell Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings St. Burnaby. Mass of Christian burial to be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, 10am at St Mary’s Catholic Church, 5251 Joyce St. Vancouver, with entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, 4000 Imperial St. Burnaby. In lieu of flowers donations in Roberto’s memory may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
