June 25, 1931 ' December 24, 2010 With great sadness the family announces the passing of our husband, father and grandfather in Burnaby General Hospital after a lengthy illness. Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley, of 57 years; daughters, Darlene Sharcott, Coral Pearce (Ken), Janice Hill (Mike Dunn); son, Ryan Hill (Sharon); and grandchildren, Kyle (Candice), Peter, Andrew and Jessica. He will be greatly missed. Heart-felt thanks to the medical and nursing staff at Burnaby General Hospital for their compassion and caring during Ron's protracted hospital stay. There is no funeral by request. An open house for family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2010, from 2-5 pm. at the family home, 6912 Joffre Avenue, Burnaby, BC.
