It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roxanna Durovic on June 23, 2015. Beloved mother of Javier Durovic and his wife Christine, Roxanna is predeceased by her mother Vera Gretsinger and her cherished husband Hristo Durovic. Born on June 2, 1948, Roxanna spent her life contributing to her communities of Burnaby and, more recently, Spences Bridge. Proud graduate of the University of Washington, she was dedicated to assisting those with mental health issues. Her sense of humour, strong values and generosity will be dearly missed. Her family is deeply appreciative of the wonderful care and support received from her friends and the teams at VGH and the BC Cancer Agency.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of her life on July 5. 2015 from 2:00-5:00 pm at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts in Burnaby. A celebration of her life has also been planned in Spences Bridge.
