Santi (Nino) Cannata passed away on March 28, 2015 at the age of 84 years. Santi was born in 1930 in Furci Siculo, Sicily, Italy. He is predeceased by his sisters Santina, Concettina, Ausilia and brother Giovanni. Nino is survived by his loving family; wife Pina; sons Carmelo (Maria), Marcello (Elaine); grandchildren Matteo, Vanessa, Talia, Roman; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 3:00-4:30p.m. at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel 4276 Hastings St. Burnaby, B.C. Prayers & Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at St. Helen's Parish, 3860 Triumph St., Burnaby, BC. Entombment to follow at the South Mausoleum, Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of BC.
