Sau King Lam

Sau King Lam, 87, passed away peacefully at Rosewood Manor where she resided on March 22, 2022. She was surrounded by her 3 of 4 children while the 2nd daughter presented through social media from overseas. Grandchildren were also with her at her final moment.

Sau King was born on August 3, 1934 in China. Married and lived in Hong Kong for over 30 years, she, her husband with their children immigrated to Vancouver, BC Canada in 1979. She will be buried alongside with her late husband Yu Fan in Ocean View.

Gardening was her passion. No matter where she lived, her garden was full of colours and was lively because of the marvelous flowers, plants and vegetables which attracted bees, birds and butterflies. She also had vacationed with her greatest enjoyment on cruise ships. The ships brought her to Alaska, Caribbean, Hawaii, Mexico, Japan, China and many other cities.

She will be remembered as the caring and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother by her children Esther and husband Chong, Victory and husband Ming, Aubrey, Carlos, grandchildren Gary, Noreen and husband Art, Kalvin, Viola and great-grandchild Sofie.
