Shannon Wai Jee Yip

Shannon loved to travel, and to share delicious food, prayers and fellowship with her many friends and family. She was an excellent retail buyer that enjoyed searching for hidden gems and setting fashionable trends during her many years at Front and Company.

Shannon will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family: Parents, Carolyn (née Chang) and Caleb Yip, sister Alicia (Peter) Yip, Aunt Evelyn + Uncle Hsiao Wei Chan, cousins Livia (Jay) Chan + Lauren (Savannah) Chan. Shannon also had many friends and extended family that loved her dearly and stepped up and supported her through this challenging time, for which her family is very grateful.

After a brave battle with cancer, Shannon went to be with the Lord peacefully surrounded by her family, with her beloved family dog Fig laying next to her. Her master said to her, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant... Let’s celebrate together”. We know that she is enjoying king crab in heav- en with Gramma, Mikey and Megan. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to the BC Cancer Foundation.
