Sharon arrived in Canada in 1955 and became a cherished resident of Vancouver, British Columbia.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years, Gary Mon Yee.
Sharon leaves behind her loving family, including her daughter Judy, and her sons Sam, with his wife Rosie, and Dan, with his wife Connie. Sharon was also a proud grandmother to Shaun, Alyssa, and Chantelle, and a great-grandmother to Gryffin Thomas.
Sharon was predeceased by her mother, Yut Yee Chin, in 1956, her father, Bing Lun Jew, in 1969, and her brother, John Shelton Jew, in 2024.
Sharon's life was filled with joy and passion for her family, and she was delighted to attend Mah Jong parties. She enjoyed playing badminton, travelling, and nurturing her indoor garden.
A visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, located at 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC, on February 10, 2026, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
The funeral service will take place at the same venue on February 11, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
Sharon will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
