Simira was born in Calabritto, Avellino, Italy and passed away peacefully at home. A hard working devoted mother and grandmother who befriended all of those around her. Known for her generosity, she was always offering a helping hand to anyone in need. Predeceased by her daughter Tina and parents Amato and Gerardina. Survived by her beloved husband Mario, children Julia (Frank), Diana (Kevin) and Daniel, grandchildren Nicholas, Alyssa and Eva, brothers Jerry, Frank (Elide), and Tony, sister Anna, along with many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 25th at St. Helen's Catholic Church, 3860 Triumph Street, Burnaby, B.C. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the B.C. Cancer Society.
