Simon Tam, 69, of Vancouver, passed away on November 26, 2025.
He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle. A man of quiet faith, Simon found joy in simplicity and yet, he enjoys the challenges of complex mathematics and computer programming. He will be remembered for his kind and loving nature. One of his greatest achievements was obtaining a PhD in Mathematics with Honours.
He is survived by his mother, siblings, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Sin Wan Tam.
In accordance with his personal wishes, a simple Christian funeral service will be held. A visitation for family and friends will take place on Sunday, December 28, 2025 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Ocean View Funeral Home – Visitation Room. The funeral service will follow on the next day, Monday, December 29, 2025 at 12:00pm at Ocean View Burial Park – Garden of Fortune.
