Sisina Fuoco

Sisina Fuoco passed away March 13, 2024 at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her parents Enrico and Adelina Venneri and brother Giuseppe. Sisina is survived by her loving family; Sister Maria (Ricardo - predeceased), sister in law Nadir, children; Giuseppe Fuoco, Michelina Fazio (Umberto), and Federico Fuoco (Daniela), grandchildren Domenica (Shawn), Nicola (Rosemary), Suzanna (Johnny) and Joseph. Great-grandchildren; Alexa, Nicholas, Luca, Matteo and Christian as well as, many nieces, nephews and friends in Canada and Italy.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Sisina will be celebrated Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Of Sorrows, 525 Slocan Street, Vancouver, BC V5K3X5.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sisina’s memory to Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, the Michael Cuccione Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC.

To all the family and many friends, both here and abroad, that have reached out to us via phone, text, e-mail etc…, we thank you for the outpouring of love, support and comfort shown to the family. The reoccurring theme from everyone has been, “Sisina was an Angel. So unselfish, so generous, never had a bad word to say about anybody”. That’s why everyone got along with her. And yes, she was an Angel, here on earth, always thinking about others first- Making people she touched feel welcomed and special. She would light up any room with her beautiful, radiant smile. Her smile is now illuminating heaven. She will always be loved and remembered fondly. We’ve all been blessed by having her in our lives.
