Sonya Maria Sun-Young PARK

Suddenly, on July 14, 2021, Sonya Maria Park passed away at the age of 41. Beloved daughter to Anna (Ei Sin) and Sam (Sang Woo) Park. Loving sister to Jonathan (Leanne) . Cherished Aunt to Austin and Mason Park. Sonya was loved by many close friends for whom she greatly cherished their friendship. Sonya graduated top of her class from University of British Columbia with an Honours Degree in Commerce. She worked in logistics for a short period of time before changing her career path and returning to school for Teacher’s college. She was a dedicated teacher who spent many hours in the classroom impacting the lives of many young people. She was an active volunteer in the community and her faith was very important to her. At the time of her death she was working towards completion of her Master’s Degree. Sonya will be forever missed and was greatly loved.
