Stephen Woon Fui Chong was born July 9, 1949 in Seria, Brunei to the late Chong Su and Sung Ui Yin. He departed from this life on Friday, August 28th, 2015 at Royal Columbian Hospital surrounded by his family and closest friends.
He married Alice Geok Kin Ngo on May 1st, 1976. They spent 39 years together and had two children, Vivian and Richard. From them, Stephen was grandfather to three happy grandchildren, Logan, Kennedy and Leah.
Stephen is survived by his wife, his two children and three grandchildren, his five brothers, David, Thomas, John, Vincent, Ken, and his four sisters, Kathy, Charlene, Joanne and Marie.
