

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Sun Dip Jung. Mom passed away peacefully with family at her side on December 27th, 2013 in Vancouver, B.C. at the age of 84.
She was born on January 17, 1929 in Toyshan, Canton China, and was predeceased by her husband Yuen Wah. She is survived by her six children, son Roy (Olivia) and daughters Donna, Mona (Ray), Lana (Richard), Gina (Jerry) and Anna; by her grandchildren Katherine and Oliver; sister Betty; her brothers Donald (Florence), and Daniel (Christine); her nieces Linda (Tom) and Gaile; her nephews Raymond (Eleanor), William, Daniel (Lynn), Douglas (Erika), and David.
A celebration of our mother’s life will be held at VanDusen Botanical Gardens (BMO Great Hall room), 5251 Oak Street., Vancouver, B.C. on Sunday, January 12th at 11:00 am with a reception to follow. Dress attire: “casual and colourful”.
The family would like to express their appreciation and give special thanks to the wonderful staff at St. Vincent’s Langara residential care home for their compassion and support.
Mom lived a life enriched by courage, generosity, love, and laughter. Her beautiful smile will never be forgotten.
