Susan was a devoted mother, a caring wife, and a proud grandmother whose life revolved around the family she treasured - both immediate and extended. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchild, especially the simple joy of cooking for him and sharing time together.
Blessed with a natural green thumb, she found joy in tending her garden while listening to her favorite music. She happily grew many different types of flowers and vegetables, the latter which she lovingly prepared into healthy tasty meals for her family. She was a gentle yet strong soul who created a home that was welcoming and filled with warmth, happiness and love.
She will be deeply missed and always remembered and loved.
Susan was predeceased by her husband, Ben Chin, in 2011. She is survived by her children Phillip, Julia (Ross), Debbie (Ian), and grandchild Ethan.
A visitation will be held on January 30, 2026 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, located at 3789 Royal Avenue, Burnaby, BC.
