Teodoro Eleazar Laureles

Teodoro Eleazar Laureles, or to most of us known as Ted, passed away peacefully and returned to his Creator on October 29, 2023, at the age of 78. He was born in Mauban, Quezon, Philippines on November 13, 1944 and has lived in Vancouver, BC, Canada, since 1981. He was a strong and courageous man who overcame life's challenges with grace and dignity. He will be lovingly remembered for his love of family gatherings, singing, dancing, his adventurous will to travel while exploring local cuisine, love of cooking and most of all, his sense of humour, smile and friendly demeanour.

Ted tended to his beautiful garden the way he cared for his family; he planted seeds of love, respect, kindness, and generosity. He is survived by his wife Leonora, his children Eleanore (David Conen), Dorothy (Matthew Patzer), May-Ann and Niña (Frederic Denis), his grandchildren Sarah, Joshua, Luke, Ella and Isaac, his brother Manolo (Anicia), their children Andrew and Anthony, and his sister Marites (Henri Mercado), their children Melissa and Lorayne, and the many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Prayer service will be on Thursday, November 9th from 7:00 PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, November 10th at 9:30 AM. Both services will be held at St. Patrick's Church, 2881 Main St, Vancouver.
