Mrs Teresa York Heun Wong passed away at the age of 74 after bravely struggling with many illnesses on Monday April 2, 2012 at Mount Saint Joseph Hospital in Vancouver with her family nearby. She was born in Xianshan (Zhongshan, China), moved to Canada in 1964 and had a happy fruitful life in Vancouver. Interment was on Thursday April 12, 2012 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park's 'Tribute Heights II' section. She is survived by Martin C.K. Wong (husband); Mike, Larry & Gary (sons); and Gabriel (grandson). She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. Donations to: the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada, Lupus Canada, Arthritis Society of Canada, Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Dementia Action Network, SUCCESS Social Services and the Tapestry Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
