Thinking of you Dear Thelma, today & everyday. 
Never selfish, a heart so kind, so soft a voice, so sweet a smile, these are the memories you leave behind. In all the world we shall not find another sister like you. We miss our talks, your comforting voice and cherish the memories of those many times when we'd laugh and rejoice sharing our childhood memories and many stories of our life's events. Keeping those you loved more than life itself. - as you would say " Love you to the moon & back" - George, Kelly, Paul, Anthony & Alexander -we love you and have you in our thoughts and prayers each & everyday.

Our family has lost a bright light ~ we are so sad to have lost Thelma's vibrant presence ~ we will deeply miss her captivating way of telling a story and hearing her laugh and most of all will miss the warm love and commitment she had for her family.

Thelma was a beautiful vibrant woman inside and out. We are deeply saddened to hear of her passing.

I met Thelma on only a few occasions when she was visiting Lucille and Ron in Courtenay, and yet I feel like I have known her years. What a lovely, warm, and wonderful individual! So kind and thoughtful. Always open and present to others. A truly beautiful soul.

George, I was so sorry to hear the news about Thelma.  I had the pleasure of working with her for a number of years, she was always happy with a sense of humour that would brighten the day of those around her, a real treasure.

Sylvia joins with me in wishing you and your family well during the difficult times ahead.  Although nothing can replace a loved one we are sure you have lots of memories that will help.  Our best to you all.

This has been tremendously difficult being out of the country on a humantarian trip for baseball in Cuba, not having the ability to connect with those I love.  I wish I could be in Vancouver tomorrow to be there with my family and give my support and love to all those who are so dear to me.  

For dozens of my adolescent summers, the highlight of the year was awaiting the arrival of Thelma, Kelly, and George, where they spent much of their time in Miramichi.  She had so much love for us all, through her hugs, and of course her stories.

It is somewhat fitting that we are here in a third world country, spreading love and light to those less fortunate, especially giving away school supplies and baseball equipment.  I grew up to stories from my dad of Thelma sending sporting gifts and school clothes home to her younger brothers, John, Merle and Dad, so that they could continue their love and passion in sport.

I remember my first time visiting her in Vancouver, and how excited we were for her to show us the mountains, and all the exciting aspects of the west coast.  I returned years later with my special friend Kelli, and Thelma's love for us was still every bit as strong, and her excitment to see us, every bit as evident.

My heart aches knowing that this summer our family vacation was planned centrally around a visit in August to Vancouver to see Thelma and her family, and rest assured the trip will still be made, yet her love and light will be deeply missed.

I love you Auntie Thelma, you were the very best of us all, and until we meet again, I know you will be watching over us all, with Nannie and our Grand-dad Harry.  I am sure you are having some amazing laughs, sharing lots of hugs over countless stories.

It's with a broken heart that I write this message to you, Kelly & George. I can't express my sadness for you and your family. I know how much you loved her and how much she loved and cherished you. As for her two grandkids, she glowed in the dark when she spoke of them. What an amazing woman! I have so many fond and happy memories of her and will hold them close to my heart. I will miss her tremendously.  

Thelma was a treasure . She had a genuineness about her that was so rare. When you spent time with Thelma she spoke with such pride about her family, particularly her grandchildren. She never spoke about herself and never spoke ill of others. 
Thelma lived a life that set such a great example  for others.  Amomg  her qualities was her modesty, pride in family, genuineness, warmth and graciousness. She made everyone she met feel special. 
She was a treasure.
