Power – Thomas Declan
July 22, 1923 – March 6, 2016
Born in Dungarvan, Ireland. It is with much sadness that we announce Thomas’s peaceful passing on Sunday, March 6th 2016 at the age of 92. He was a loving husband to Joyce Power (deceased) for 52 years and is survived by his children Brian, Cynthia (Dennis) and Russell. Remembered for his unconditional love by his granddaughters Vanessa (Matthew) and Larissa Maion, Jasmine Power (deceased) and grandsons Travis and Shayne Power. Thomas will be missed for his humour, smile and positive outlook on life. He was a spiritual man who loved fishing with his son in the Kamloops area, search-a-words, apple pie, singing, bingo, travelling and scratch & wins! The family wishes to thank Dr. McWhinney and the staff at Churchill House and Evergreen House. A celebration of Thomas’s life is being planned; details will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to a charity of the donors’ choice.
