Mom, I have always appreciated the way you have welcomed me into the family with open arms.  You were always gentle, kind, and considerate.  I have never heard you raise your voice at anyone.  I will always remember the story you shared about how one single stick is weak and easy to break; but a bunch of sticks is strong. As a volunteer at Dufferin Care Centre it was my privilige to have met and loved Veronica who was a dear, caring and delightful lady.  Over the years we had many laughs and prayers together. I shall miss her presence. My heart goes out to her devoted family. May God bless them all.

Remembering  what a lovely Veronica you had.  Veronica was a remarkable person, very caring, sensitive, charming and uncomplaining. Veronica is a sweetheart and her passing will be a great loss to all who knew her.  My deepest condolence to the Shim family.

Veronica was an inspiration to us all. Despite her sufferings and discomfort she was always positive and had great faith in the power of prayer and always subjected herself to the will of God.
It was a privilege to have known her. And I will certainly miss her presence at Dufferin.

Mum, there is no words to discribe how thankful I am to have you as my mother in law. I thank you for all you have done for our family. How you babysit Jon and Chris when we needed you too. My grandmother used to let my sisters and I watch Power Rangers with her when our mother thought the show was too violent. She was also an expert at cooking up instant noodles and her chopped green apples were always seasoned with a bit of salt. She was an all-around awesome person. I'm going to miss you, Popo.
