She is predeceased by her husband Kwok Fai Wong. She is survived by her children, Amy (Tom), Anne (John), Tony (Sylvia), and Christine; her grandchildren Eric and Tyler; and her favorite dog named Toffee.
During her golden years, Wai Chun enjoyed ballroom dancing, late-night mahjong, spending
time with her exercise and karaoke pals, and taking care of her grandchildren.
Although our mother had many health challenges over the last two decades, she faced them
all with resilience and courage. We would like to express our gratitude to
the countless doctors, nurses, and staff who supported her over those years at
St. Paul’s Hospital: Hemodialysis Ward, Renal Transplant Team, Cardiology Ward,
and Geriatric Ward.
In lieu of flowers, if you would like to make a donation in Wai Chun’s name, please consider donating to St. Paul’s Foundation. A celebration of life will be held on March 21, 2022, 1:15pm, for family and close friends, at Ocean View Funeral Home & Burial Park, 4000 Imperial Street. If you would still like to send flowers for the celebration of life, please have them delivered before March 20, 2022, 3:00pm, to Ocean View.
We kindly request that if you are unvaccinated or not feeling well before or on the day
of the service, that you do not attend in person and pay your respects on your
own. This will help protect the elderly and immuno-compromised guests
attending.
