She was born July 27, 1936, in Hong Kong, a daughter of the late Yung Shum Chuen and Chiu Lin Mui.
Wai Chun was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Fan Ho Koo.
She was a kind and pleasant person who always thought of others before herself. She lovingly helped raise many of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Wai Chun is survived by 2 sons and a daughter and their spouses, Patty and Bryan Sun of Coquitlam, Gordon and Florence Fan of Hong Kong, and Daniel Fan and Linda Fok of Hong Kong; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a brother and his wife, Yung Wai Lim and Li Mui Lan. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Visitation will be held 10am. Friday, October 15, at the Chapel Courtyard in Ocean View Cemetery, with burial to follow.
