Mr. William Sinclair Harper

December 10, 1948May 3, 2020

“Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.” - Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend Bill Harper passed away on May 3, 2020. Predeceased by his parents William and Dorthy, and survived by his wife Wen-ni, daughter Alyce (husband Jonathan), son Billy (wife Eugina) and his grandchildren Emma, Hunter, and Kate - he will be missed dearly.

Bill was an accountant for 40 years, holding a CPA, CA designation & MBA. He was well respected in the industry for his knowledge, experience and integrity. Bill was a true gentleman, known for his love, kindness, and sense of humour. He enjoyed reading, golfing, martial arts and travelling. He had an inquisitive mind and always challenged himself to learn new things, and particularly loved sharing his knowledge with his friends and family. Bill had a passion for the great outdoors and spent most of his weekends hiking local mountains and exploring trails. His family created many special memories during these adventures, and will greatly miss his uncanny ability to always find a path forward.

A private ceremony will be held for immediate family during this difficult time. We will also be dedicating a bench at Brohm lake, Squamish in loving memory of Bill. We welcome those wishing to honour his life to visit the bench or to make a donation to BC Parks -

I’ve known Bill for many years, he was a director of our Company Benton Resources right from the beginning. He was simply a delight to work and talk with in a personal and professional manner. He will be sadly missed and my condolences and hugs goes out to his family. RIP Bill.
