Yueh Hsim Soo

July 18, 1938 to October 5, 2025

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our Mother, Yueh Hsim Soo. Our Mother spent her last years in a long-term care facility following a stroke in 2014. She spent majority of her years at Mount Saint Joseph in Vancouver and finally her resting place at Chenchenstway Care Home in Burnaby.

Predeceased by her husband, Kuen Sai Soo, and survived by her children and grandchildren, she will forever be cherished by all.

A funeral service to honour and celebrate her life will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, BC V5G 3M1. Burial will follow immediately after the service.

Following the burial, the family invites friends and loved ones to join in a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM at Lee Garden Seafood Restaurant, 6401 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC, V5E 1C9.
