Yuet was born on April 22, 1937 in a small village in China. She lived a simple life with her parents and her two siblings.
Yuet came to Canada in 1964 to marry her husband, Dew Wing Lim. She is survived by her 4 children: Helen, Wendy, May, and Johnny and by her granddaughter, Samantha.
Yuet held many jobs throughout her life, but her most important job was being a mom to her four kids and creating delicious food for her family and friends. She would constantly change her recipes to try to perfect them. When Yuet wasn't cooking, she liked to play mah jong, watch TV, and exercise with her friends.
