

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Allison Johnson, who passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to those around her. She was born on September 28, 1955 to William and Margaret Jane Banks in Austin, Tx. She married her husband of 45 years, Daniel Johnson, on May 30, 1980. They had two daughters, Julie and Jessica, and settled in Pearsall, Tx in 1998.
She is preceded in death by parents and brother, William, Margaret Jane, and Brian Banks.
She is survived by her husband Daniel Johnson, two daughters Julie Johnson Hubbard and Jessica Johnson Rodriguez, grandchildren, Morgan, Hailee, Brianna, Colton, and Hoyt Hubbard, Julia, Jayce, Jensen, and Jolynn Rodriguez, brother Bill Banks, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Allison was a devoted mother and wife and compassionate teacher. For 30 years, she dedicated herself to education, spending the majority of her career serving the students and families of Dilley ISD. She believed deeply in the power of learning and the mindset of never giving up. She found profound joy in seeing her students grow and succeed.
At home, Allison, better known as Mimi to her grandchildren, gave her whole heart to her family. She was known for her overflowing love and thoughtfulness, kindness, and resilience in the face of life’s challenges. Strong and unyielding, she showed us all what it means to lead a life filled with love.
Allison’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched—as a wife, mother, Mimi, teacher, and friend. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, her unwavering support, and the countless lives she helped shape with her compassion and wisdom.
A Funeral meal and service will be held on Saturday April 11, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Lampasas. Meal will start at 11:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral service at 1 p.m..
