Bennie Belle Price

Bennie Belle Price, age 96 passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025. She was born May 23, 1928, in Petersburg, Texas to parents Willie Benjamin Williams and Evelyn Isabelle McClintock. Bennie was the oldest of six siblings, surviving, Arthur Lee Williams and Priscilla Carol Dick. She married J.D. Price of Texas, March 27, 1950.

She was a very hard working wife and mother and had three children. Walter (deceased) and his wife Claudia, their children, Jason (deceased) and Nathan. Michael (deceased) and wife Cyndi, and son Justin. Suzanne, husband Ted, children Lindsay and Candice (deceased). Also survived by many great grandkids, nieces, and cousins.

Bennie earned her RN (registered nurse) degree at Scott and White in Temple, Texas and nursed over three decades.

She was a member of Tallowood Baptist Church in Houston and was a loving participant in the Stephens Ministry. She had many longtime friends in Houston and was passionate about gardening. Bennie loved playing cards and other games with the ladies and their lunches out.

She resided in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina near her daughter Suzanne. A graveside service for Bennie was held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Bear Creek cemetery near Bertram where she was buried along side her husband J.D.
