Betty was born in Bruni, Texas to Louis and Berdie Towns. Betty graduated from Bruni High School and went on to get her degree in education and physical education. She taught at all levels of school, high school and college. Betty also coached basketball. She retired in 1997 after 27 years from Odessa College in Odessa, Texas.
Paul and Betty enjoyed several years of traveling all over the United States and Canada in their RV before settling down in Burnet.
Betty is survived by her husband, Paul Hudson. Her children, Paul Hudson Jr., Sheri Robinson and Jeff Hudson along with their spouses. Betty is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also, her sister-in-law, Betty Towns and nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
