Bobbie Lee Wells

September 29, 1918~~January 2, 2017

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Great-Great Grandmother,age 98,

Bobbie Lee Wells aka MaMo, who loved to travel, made her final trip on the morning of

January 2, 2017, to her ultimate destination where she has joined her husband, Buck Wells;

her parents, Will and Ardella Moore Greene; her brother, Graydon V. Greene and her sister,

Billie B. Greene McCaskill.

Bobbie is survived by her son, Fred Wells (Lou) of Hoover's Valley, Burnet County Tx. Also

surviving her are her three devoted grandchildren: Candy Wells Pappas of Corona del Mar, CA;

Kevin Wells (Donna) of Lakeway, TX and Toby Wells (Karen) of Dripping Springs, TX. Her six

great-grandchildren on whom she doted are Bradley Wells (Kelly) of Dripping Springs;

MSgt. Jason Wells (Michelle) of Raeford, N.C.; Lindsay Wells of Los Angeles, CA; Hunter Pappas

of Stephenville, TX; Cassie Pappas and Hayley Pappas of Los Angeles, CA. Bobbie lived long enough

to hold her great-great grandchildren. They are: Katelyn, Kara and Krista Wells of

Dripping Springs; Kerrick and Caelum Wells of Raeford, N.C. and William Pappas of Granbury, TX.

Having reared an only child, Bobbie was tremendously proud of her big family when we all got

together for holidays and summer get-togethers. We cannot say Bobbie leaves a host of cousins

and friends behind as she outlived nearly all of them.

Although she was born in Florence, TX, Bobbie and Buck lived all their married life in South Austin.

She was the toy buyer for the old original E.M. Scarbrough and Sons Department Store at 6th and

Congress for many years before working for and retiring from the State Comptroller's Department.

When Bobbie moved to Marble Falls in 2005, she joined Kingsland Community Church where she served

tirelessly in many capacities.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 5th at 11:00 AM at Hoover's Valley Chapel located

at Park Road 4 West and County Road 119 in Burnet County. A meal will follow the service at the

Chapel. Clyde Worth Fluitt of Waco, TX will officiate.
