Cecil Monroe "Sonny"Snell age 77 of Burnet,Texas passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010. He was born July 6, 1933 in Cache, Oklahoma to Kingdon Brian Snell and Marion (Mahaffey) Snell. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired here from Dallas 20 years ago where he was employed as a buyer for Sears. He was an avid fisherman and loved to travel and was devoted to his grandchildren and his dog Max.
Cecil is survived by his friend Mary Bass of Burnet, son Scott Snell of Dallas, daughter Lisa Snell Vladyka of Hawaii and by grandsons Michael K. Snell, Evan D. Snell, and Landon Vladyka.
A memorial service in memory of Cecil will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2010, at the First United Methodist Church in Marble Falls, Texas.
