Connie led a remarkable life filled with creativity, dedication, and love. A retired Realtor/Broker, she also had a passion for design and architecture. Connie was the visionary architect and designer behind several homes and projects by her late husband, Chris Sellars. Her talent and eye for detail left a lasting mark on the spaces she helped create.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Connie found joy in her hobbies and creative pursuits. She was an avid competitive bridge player who relished the strategy and camaraderie of the game. Her flair for storytelling shone through in her writing and directing of comedy skits and plays, bringing laughter and entertainment to those fortunate enough to witness her work.
Connie was devoted to her family. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rick & Donna Cox of Burnet, Texas; her sister, Karen Darst of Phoenix, Arizona; as well as a large extended family that includes Don & SuZan Sellars, Alton and Crystal Sutter, 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Her legacy of love and creativity will live on through them.
She was predeceased by her husband Chris Sellars; her son Tom Cox; her brother Jimmy Longfellow; and her parents Bill Longfellow and Helen Smith.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to their angel from heaven, Karen Goman of New Century Hospice for the compassionate care provided during Connie’s final days.
Connie’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Rest in peace, dear Connie—you are forever in our hearts.
