

Dorman was very devoted to his family. He adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren and took great pride in each and every one of them. He was a man of high moral character who did his best to set the best example for his family to follow. Dorman and his wife, Barbara were members of the New Life Pentecostal Church in Burnet, Texas. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
Dorman worked for his life longtime friend, LJ Henderson Construction in Burnet. He also worked for Ryan Construction in Zephyr, Texas until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Barbara Bird Hunziker, daughters Glenda Davidson of Bertram, Sharon Nobles of Buchanan Dam, Karen Spicer & husband Rick of Lexington, KY., Kathy and Doug Waechter of Burnet, TX, his son, Robert Hunziker of Lexington, KY. His sister Edith Rider and husband Henry of Toccoa, GA., brothers Don Hunziker of Burnet, Darrell Hunziker of Burnet, 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Dorman was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Norman Hunziker.
A visitation will be held at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, located at 306 East Polk Street, Burnet, Texas, 78611-2539, on November 23, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at the same venue on November 24, 2025, starting at 10:00 am.
A committal service will follow at Post Mountain Cemetery, located at 322 Southland Dr, Burnet, Texas, 78611, on November 24, 2025.
