

Dorothy was an independent woman with a strong personality, living her life on her own terms. She raised two girls single handed working in the café business most of her life, owing her own café The West Street Café in Leander. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for her children or grandchildren. For over the past 15 years R.J. Evers was her rock and companion. She loved Country music and dancing. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her daughters Angie Rhea Williams of Burnet and Bobbie Jo Higgs of Hutto; grandchildren James Penny, Joshua Penny, Devan Higgs, Dakota Cretend, Brody Williams, Ashlyn Higgs, and Kameron Higgs, brother Robert Covington and wife Cindy and sister Susie Luce and husband Jeff, lifelong companion R.J. Evers and numerous nieces and nephews, and her very special dog “Taco”. She was preceded in death by her parents.
There are no services planned at this time and private gathering and burial will be held at a later date.
