I taught school at Faubian Elementary with Florence. She was a gracious lady, sweet and kind to everyone as well as an excellent teacher. Her smile and helpful nature made her a joy to be around. When she had advice to give I listened. Florence will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Found a poem from Florence's cousin, Jo Foulds, tucked into her address book and will be reading this at her service. Seems that they both left us a special note.

Florence was an amazing teacher. She taught my daughter in second grade. Then became a good friend and tablemate to my mother-in-law while they were in assisted living. She was the kindest person. Everyone loved and respected her. She will be missed.

I taught with Florence while at Faubion! She was such an amazing teacher. Her students were always so well behaved and considerate. I never heard her raise her voice, sound irritated nor sound frustrated. Florence exemplified professionalism & kindness. I admired her greatly.
My sincere condolences to her family. She was an amazing woman. Monica johnson
