Gilbert Wayne Gilmore, Sr, 67, of Liberty Hill, TX, passed away on March 14, 2025. Born on July 8, 1957 in Burnet, TX. He was a lifelong resident of Liberty Hill and graduated from Georgetown H.S. Later he went on to be a Transportation Engineer. Some of the best titles he held were: Son, Dad, Husband, Paw-Paw & Brother. His true passions were spending time with family and coin collecting. Gilbert is survived by wife, Denise Armstrong-Gilmore, mother, Joy Glyndean Gilmore (Bertram, TX), oldest son & wife, Gilbert Wayne Gilmore, Jr & Amy (Burnet, TX), youngest son, Chris Alan Gilmore (Liberty Hill, TX), son, Dustin Ray (Liberty Hill, TX), oldest brother & wife, Billy & Cindy Gilmore (Liberty Hill, TX), youngest brother, Travis Gilmore & wife (Liberty Hill, TX), sister & wife, Michelle & Sandra McMurry (Liberty Hill, TX), numerous nieces & nephews, grandchildren & great -grandchildren. He is also predeceased by his father, William ‘Bill’ Lindsey Gilmore (Dam-B, TX). He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
