He was married to the love of his life, Annie Marie Sheppard, on July 18, 1955. They shared 71 wonderful years of marriage. They had two children, Cindy and Ricky.
He served in World War II in the Navy and the Korean War in the Army. He worked for Exxon for almost 40 years. He loved watching the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed construction and delivering cars for dealerships.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Theodore Knight, his mother, Lois Glass, and daughter Cindy Roberts. He is survived by his loving wife, Annie Knight, and son Ricky Knight (Pam). He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Susan (Aaron) Russell, David Roberts, Stephanie Haggerton, Ashley (Robert) Dunn, and Kevin Knight. He has 9 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild.
A Funeral Service at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home will be held on September 25, 2026, at 11:00 am. A time for visitation will be held an hour before the funeral. Burial will follow at Burnet City cemetery.
