Jessica Lee Rickaby Hudson

Jessica Lee Rickaby Hudson, 26, of Burnet, TX, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Scott & White Hospital in Round Rock, after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Mitchell Hudson, of Melbourne, Australia; her children, Annalise Victoria Rickaby & William Connor Daniels; her parents Jim & Diane Blair, of Burnet; sisters Brianna Blair, of Burnet, and Christie Blair, of Burnet; brothers Aaron Blair, of Kingsland, and Shane Blair, of Burnet; grandmother, Edna Rickaby, of Burnet; and several nieces & nephews. Jessie was preceded in death by her grandfather, Kenneth H. Rickaby; her aunt, Donna G. Rickaby; and her uncle, Kenneth W. Rickaby.

Jessie was born on January 29, 1987, in Temple, TX. She graduated from Burnet High School in 2005. She also served as a fire fighter for the Hoover Valley Volunteer Fire Department. Jessie was an amazing young lady who was always smiling and never let her breast cancer get the better of her spirit. She had a laugh that was contagious. She had a love for music, movies, science, and reading. Jessie also enjoyed gaming with her friends & family, sewing & traveling. Her first loves were her children, Annalise and Connor. She married the love of her life on October 6, 2012, and it was one of the happiest moments of her life.

There will be a memorial service to celebrate the life of Jessie by sharing memories and stories of her life on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home Burnet.
